Hard Rock Cafe - Rocking the MDGs

It is Sunday evening in New York and we are at the Hard Rock Cafe Rocking the MDGs. Its an evening filled with good food, fun and the Winners presenting their projects one by one. It is amazing and highly commendable what projects the youths have come up with and how they are highly passionate about their work.

We saw a HIV awareness platform from China, an educational site from Italy, an African photography site from France, a Women's Forum from Azerbaijan......

As a judge I am happy to see the projects that I chose on stage.....

I moderated the panel "Power 2 Women" and enjoyed every second of it. It is wonderful that issues of Women's rights are being addressed in developing countries. I hope and pray that Nigerian women will take action too and talk about issues pertaining to women in Nigeria on a digital level.
